John Gentile
A professional in the entertainment industry for over 25 years with an outstanding variety of skills, John has worked from design through fabrication, installation and operation in various aspects of production. He has produced parades and attractions for theme parks, built and operated scenery for Broadway shows, assembled staff and talent for corporate presentations, and everything in between. Formally trained in Technical Design and Project Management, with a BFA in Design Technology from the State University of New York College at Purchase, John performs well under sensitive time schedules and strict budgets, all the while maintaining the creative vision. He has an excellent reputation for leading and focusing a highly diverse workforce of eccentric and brilliant designers, artists, engineers and craftsman who consistently accomplish one-of-a-kind, world-class experiences for people around the world.
John is highly detail oriented and excels at coordination of theatrical, technical, and facility elements, and easily leads crews and overseeing show installations. A highly accomplished entertainment leader well versed in live show production, he has extensive experience working internationally, and embraces the challenges often associated with working outside one’s comfort (as well as time) zone. He is highly energetic, creative, persistent and strongly self-motivated in achieving the most challenging of goals. Working with both artistic and technical groups, his communication skills allow him to produce complex projects with full cooperation of people with differing backgrounds, disciplines, and cultures.
